Bullet in Taseer’s neck proves fatal: autopsy report

ISLAMABAD: The postmortem report of assassinated Governor Punjab Salmaan Taseer has been released late on Tuesday night, Geo News reported.

According to report, as many as 27 bullets were shot whereas a gunshot in his neck proved fatal.

All the bullets were fired from his back, which went across his body meanwhile the heart remained undamaged, the report said.

The gunshots were fired from 4 to 5 feet distance, the report further said.
