PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari On Salman Taseer Murder

I join the workers... of Pakistan Peoples Party in mourning the tragic assassination of Governor Punjab, Shaheed Salmaan Taseer. He has joined my beloved mother Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and my grandfather Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and hundreds of other PPP martyrs, as those willing to lay down their lives for their beliefs. Our party's struggle to uphold the values of Islam, democracy and social democracy will continue. In fact we are strengthened by the sacrifices of our martyrs. An egalitarian, tolerant, inclusive and just order that serves all the people of Pakistan remains our goal. Shaheed Salmaan Taseer was targeted for pursuing these noble goals and we will honor his memory by continuing the mission which he joined as a student and served until his dying day.
