PPP USA celebrated the birthday of Chairman PPP Bilawal
Bhutto Zardari at Ali Baba restaurant in Queens, New
York on September 24th, 2010. The celebration was not
extravagant because we had the people of Pakistan in
our mind and hearts, the devastation that came in the
form of the floods was also a topic of discussion and
due to this we celebrated modestly. Dr. M. Hassan,
President PPP USA, presided at the gathering. During
his speech, Dr. Hassan stated that it is tough time
for the PPP Government but we must remain unified. The
PPP government is helping the victims of the floods
but the media continues to make conspiracy theories
about how PPP will divide, rather than highlighting
the continuing efforts of the PPP government to
strengthen Pakistan as a nation. Dr. Hassan also
emphasized that there will be full support of PPP Co
Chairman from PPP USA. Others in
attendance were: Shafqat Tanweer Secretary General PPP, Mian Basharat Ahmad Chief Advisor to the
President PPP USA, Mrs Samina Hassan, Mrs Azra Dahr
, Mrs Iftikhar Malik, Malik Iqbal Awan Vice President
PPP, Farasat Choudhry Vice President, Choudhary Hafeez Kahloon,
Ch Iqbal Jut, Zafar Iqbal Chatha Coordinator, Jahangir Buttar Finance Secretary, Qazi
Tasneem, Mian Abdullha, Raja Mazhar, Malik Iftikhar,
Noor-ul-Arfeen Dahr, Masood Zakria Choudhary and many
other workers.
